Alirity has partnered with Special Olympics Great Britain (GB) to enhance their data management processes and support their mission to transform lives through sport.
Special Olympics GB uses the power of sport to transform the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, providing regular training and competitions. Operating in England, Scotland, and Wales, the charity empowers over 6,600 athletes through opportunities in 27 different sports, supported by a devoted team of 3,800 volunteers.
Over the past year, Alirity has collaborated with Special Olympics GB to optimise their Salesforce platform. This has streamlined registration and accreditation, increased efficiency, and strengthened data security to better serve their community across the country.
“We’ve been seeking improvements to our data management system for some time and wanted to make our Special Olympics GB registration and accreditation processes as easy as possible for our network of clubs,” said Vanessa Snell, Director of Operations at Special Olympics GB.
“We started working with Alirity 12 months ago to help us achieve these goals, whilst also ensuring that we can improve our organisational efficiencies, collect more appropriate information about our athletes and volunteers, and retain the highest levels of data security.”
“As well as completing an initial data cleanse, to ensure that any duplicate information was removed and increase our capacity to record more detailed information, the Alirity team has implemented new processes that ultimately save time for all users. We’re grateful for their support and look forward to our continued work with them through this new partnership.”
Alirity’s CEO, Charlie Symonds, echoes this: “At Alirity, we are incredibly proud to partner with Special Olympics GB. Our collaboration over the past year has demonstrated how technology can enable transformative change. By enhancing their data management processes, we are not only supporting their mission but also empowering athletes and volunteers across the country. We have learnt a lot of the course of the year, we look forward to continuing this impactful work and witnessing the remarkable achievements of Special Olympics GB in the years to come.”
This partnership has been a rewarding experience for the Alirity team, as we continue to support Special Olympics GB in empowering athletes and volunteers and empowering their impactful work. We’re excited to see how these improvements will help them achieve greater success in their mission.
