A global organisation was preparing for the launch of Workday, a HR platform designed to streamline operations and enhance self-service.

To support a smooth transition, a tailored training programme was created, using AI-generated videos and interactive workshops to guide employees through key behavioural changes.

In under three months, 2,090 employees participated, with 93% feeling better equipped for the change.

The client, a global organisation operating across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, was introducing Workday to enhance HR efficiency and empower employees with self-service capabilities.

To maximise the platform’s benefits, the People & Operations team needed to adapt to new ways of working, ensuring a seamless shift in processes and behaviours.

A clear, structured approach to training was needed to build confidence, align teams, and embed the self-service model effectively.

A comprehensive training programme was designed and delivered, equipping employees with the knowledge and tools needed for the transition. Key elements included:

  • AI-generated training videos simulating real P&O scenarios, demonstrating best practices in action.
  • Nine online interactive 2-hour long workshops, combining leadership insights, scenario-based learning, and open Q&A discussions.
  • Tailored content focusing on key behavioural shifts to support self-service adoption, ensuring employees were confident in using the new system.

The use of AI videos created an engaging and consistent learning experience, while scenario-based learning helped employees apply new processes in a practical, real-world context.

The programme successfully prepared 2,090 employees in under three months.

  • 93% of participants felt better equipped for the transition.
  • 96% of attendees found the sessions valuable.

The approach demonstrated significant potential for broader applications in change management and onboarding programmes, positioning the client for smoother technology adoption and enhanced team alignment.

With employees engaged and confident in the new ways of working, the organisation is well-prepared to embed the tool’s benefits and drive future transformation initiatives.
